Kakadu National Park

Kakadu National Park is the largest in Australia. The name comes from a mispronunciation of an aboriginal word Gaagudju which is the term for the language of the areas first inhabitants.  Similarly, the alligator rivers running through the park was initially in error as this is CROC country not alligators.  We took a CROC feeding cruise on the alligator river and another cruise on the Yellow Water Billabong.  We also took a once in a lifetime scenic flight over Kakadu.  So much amazing scenery! We also took two aboriginal rock art walking tours one at Ubirr and one at Nourlangie Rocks.
